Unconventional, often breaking the limits of reality, Weeds is a comedy drama television series that brings to light the wheels within wheels of the American suburbs with an unusual humor. A typical suburban mother remains widow after her husband dies due to a sudden heart attack. Unfortunately, he leaves behind many unpaid bills and other debts. Having two kids, she must find a way out of their financial crisis.
Thus and so, in order to maintain the suburban lifestyle to which she was accustomed, the loving mom enters the dangerous world of drug dealing. Believe it or not, Nancy Botwin’s “business” blossoms every day, among her regular clients ranking her accountant, her lawyer and even suburban friends. Although she leans over backward to keep her job secret, at some point everything comes to light. Then, both Andy, her brother in law, Celia Hodes, Nancy’s best “frienemy” and even her children join her, developing the business. In time, they expand the client base to different areas of Agrestic and confront new challenges. Be careful! With the first consumed episode, Weeds leads to addiction…
